1. Who we are
This website is operated by Tech N Art Studio ("TNA", "we", "us", "our"), a digital marketing agency based in Australia. This policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect personal information when you visit technartstudio.com or engage us for services, in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).
2. Information we collect
We only collect personal information that you choose to give us. Depending on which form you use, this may include:
- Your name
- Email address
- Phone number
- Business or company name
- Your role at the business
- Website URL
- The service(s) you're interested in
- Any additional details you provide about your project, goals, or challenges
- How you heard about us
We do not knowingly collect sensitive information (such as health, financial, or government ID details) through this website, and we ask that you don't include this kind of information in a form's free-text field.
3. How we collect it
We collect personal information directly from you, when you voluntarily submit it through one of our forms — including the "Book a Free Strategy Call" form, the quick-contact forms found throughout the site, and any enquiry you send us by email or phone. We also collect limited technical information automatically through Google Tag Manager, as described in section 6.
4. How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Respond to your enquiry and follow up on a call or quote request
- Understand your business and tailor our advice or proposal
- Deliver services to you if you become a client
- Maintain records of our communications with you
- Improve our services and this website
We do not use your information for automated decision-making, and we do not send unsolicited marketing communications — if we ever send you marketing material, it will include a clear way to opt out.
5. Third parties who process your information
We use a small number of third-party services to operate this website and handle form submissions. Your information is only shared with these providers to the extent necessary for them to perform that function:
- Web3Forms — processes submissions from our "Book a Free Strategy Call" form and delivers them to us by email.
- Our own email server — the quick-contact forms found across the site are submitted directly to a script on our own server, which emails the enquiry to our team.
- Google Fonts — this site loads typefaces from Google's font servers, which may log standard technical request data (such as your IP address) as part of serving the font files.
- Google Tag Manager — we use Google Tag Manager to manage tracking and analytics tags on this site. See section 6 for what this means in practice.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their own marketing purposes.
6. Cookies and tracking
This site uses Google Tag Manager (GTM), a tool that lets us load and manage tracking tags — such as analytics — without editing the website's code directly. GTM itself does not necessarily set cookies, but the tags configured inside it may. This can include tools like Google Analytics, which uses cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use this site (e.g. which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and what device or browser they're using), typically in aggregate and de-identified form.
We do not currently use advertising or retargeting cookies. If we add these in the future, we will update this policy accordingly. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings at any time; doing so may affect how some parts of this site function.
7. Data storage and security
Information submitted through our forms is delivered to our team by email and may be stored in our email system and, where relevant, in client management tools used to deliver our services. We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the personal information we hold from misuse, interference, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as it's reasonably necessary to respond to your enquiry, deliver our services, and meet our legal and accounting obligations. If you'd like us to delete information we hold about you, contact us using the details below and we'll action your request unless we're required to retain it by law.
9. Access and correction
Under the Australian Privacy Principles, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, request a copy of it, and ask us to correct it if it's inaccurate or out of date. To make a request, contact us using the details in section 11.
10. Children's privacy
This website and our services are directed at businesses, not children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
11. Contact us
If you have a question about this policy, want to access or correct your information, or want to make a privacy complaint, contact us at:
- Email: support@technartstudio.com
- Phone: +61 497 211 988
If you're not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), the independent regulator for privacy in Australia.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes to our practices or for legal reasons. The "last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
